WHO WE ARE

melporterdesign as a Brisbane based interior design studio with a focus on commercial, hotel and bespoke residential projects. We draw on a strong background experience of working within award-winning architectural and commercial interior design practices in Brisbane.

We collaborate closely with clients to understand briefing requirements, project outcomes and aspirations, and work towards interpreting their needs and individual style into pragmatic and highly engaging spaces.

With 15 years of industry experience in commercial, hotel, multi-residential and hospitality sectors, director Melinda Porter is an experienced Interior Designer who is curious about what makes her clients tick.

She focuses on the details whilst maintaining a holistic overview of projects., and builds longstanding relationships with clients, builders and consultant teams that result in strong project outcomes based on a deep understanding of the values of the client.

Melinda works towards the seamless integration of interior and architectural elements, responding to both the clients brief and enhancing the individual end users experience.
